To recruit and retain the best people, in this market, we have to be open to the diverse groups within our country.
Our goal was to bring together representatives from business community, special interest groups, government agencies, employees and others to discuss topical issues and challenges and to then make recommendations to share with the broader business community.
I believe that this year’s roundtables set the stage for those of us in the business world.
Their numbers are growing steadily in the population and it is becoming increasingly important to include this community in corporate Canada.
We need to address the business case, the benefits and the challenges to doing so.
